Activities and Main Features in Jubilee Country Park 


Jubilee Country Park is a natural, green, open space and Local Nature Reserve covering over 60 acres of neutral grassland, woodland and meadows between Petts Wood and Bickley.  The park provides and oasis of calm and natural beauty and is a haven for wildlife, nestled in a largely residential area of the London Borough of Bromley. 

There are a series of well sign-posted footpaths and cycle paths, with access from Tent Peg Lane, Petts Wood and Thornet Wood or Blackbrook Lane, Bromley.  If you haven't yet discovered this hidden gem, please find further details on the About Us/The Location tab. Whether you are walking the dog, going for a jog or cycle ride, or simply taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then Jubilee Country Park is the perfect place to visit.

The Orienteering Course: Jubilee Country Park is one of the few sites around London which are able to offer a full orienteering course free of charge. A popular event for groups from all over London to visit, including orienteering groups and Scouts. Take the challenge and click on the Orienteering Course tab for your map and certificate, which are available to download.

The Woodland Trail: An opportunity for those with restricted mobility to experience the park via a wheelchair-accessible, circular trail through Thornet Wood. Please click on the Woodland Trail tab for further details. 

Wildlife ponds: We have many ponds which are home to a number of rare species. For this reason we try and protect them from disturbance from people and dogs. Please keep dogs under control and admire from afar!


Picnic area: You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy your lunch in our picnic area which is just a short walk from the Tent Peg Lane entrance.  Please remember to use the waste bins provided or take items for recycling home with you. . Please note that dogs are not allowed in the picnic area.

Dogs: Well behaved dogs are welcome in the park, with the exception of the picnic area as above.  We welcome all visitors to enjoy the park, whether that's on two legs or four, but please be mindful of other visitors and always ensure that dogs are kept in sight and under control. Also, please make sure that you always clean up after your dog and dispose of the waste in a suitable bin. Thank you for helping us to keep the park clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.
