Natural Habitats in Jubilee Country Park

Woodland: - Oak, Ash, Hawthorn, Midland Hawthorn, Field Maple, Apple, Hazel, Blackthorn. 

Meadows: - Neutral grassland.  

Ponds and ditches: - supporting rare wildlife,  home of Great Crested Newt.  There were four seasonal ponds in Jubilee Park. A fifth pond was created in 2009 funded by a grant from Veolia. This has been named Ray’s Pond. An additional pond was created in 2016 to help with flooding on the meadow and walkway from the run-off of the school playing field. this has been named Jennie's pond in acknowledgement of the contribution Jennie Randall has made to help conserve the park over the years. 

Hedgerows: - Mixed species hedgerows – Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Field Maple, Oak, Ash.   

Scrub: -  Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Bramble, Willow, Oak.  

Deadwood: - Standing and fallen
